Toronto-based LOGiQ Asset Management Inc. has welcomed Mary Anne Palangio to the role of chief financial officer (CFO).
Palangio joins the asset manager from her most recent role as CFO of the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan Administration Corp. She has also held various senior positions at Toronto-based Manulife Financial Corp., including the role of senior vice president and global head of operations and data management for the firm’s investment division.
Palangio takes over from Derek Slemko, who joined LOGiQ when it was known as Aston Hill Financial in 2006. Slemko was the firm’s CFO and chief operating officer.
