Jonathan Lin, wealth advisor and financial planner with BMO Nesbitt Burns, has won the Investment Industry Association of Canada’s (IIAC) Top Under 40 Award for 2021.
Lin, based in Toronto, is a chartered investment manager, certified financial planner and certified international wealth manager. He was selected from among 35 nominees.
According to his bio on BMO Nesbitt Burns’ website, Lin believes “that the wealth advisor’s interests are always aligned with his client’s values.” He also performs volunteer and charitable work throughout Toronto, including fundraising to support St. Michael’s Hospital and the Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Club.
In a release, the IIAC said the Top Under 40 Award “recognizes and celebrates the new generation of highly motivated and talented young professionals whose drive, dedication, personal and professional qualities and accomplishments have brought distinction to the investment industry.”
The runners-up for this year’s award were Robert Marck, investment advisor and portfolio manager with BMO Nesbitt Burns, and Niki Prodanovic, principal of Canadian operations with Edward Jones.
