Invesco Trimark Ltd. is asking financial advisors nationwide to think about risk in a new light at its Professional Development 2009 sessions, the company said Monday.
Now in its 11th year, the program is Invesco Trimark’s premier education event for investment professionals. Commencing tomorrow, the program will travel across 24 Canadian cities and will conclude on November 12, 2009.
“Believing that investors are best served by a skilled and knowledgeable financial advisor, we are excited to be visiting advisors across the country to provide practical tools and advice they can use with their clients,” says Scott McLean, senior vice president, retail sales at Invesco Trimark. “Partnering with advisors has always been one of our top priorities.”
This year, attendees can expect insights from leaders in macroeconomics, portfolio construction and practice management.
They will also hear what Invesco Trimark portfolio managers have learned from the current recession, how their portfolios are positioned to move forward and why they’re optimistic about the future.
In addition, advisors will receive tax and estate planning tips, and practical tools and strategies to grow their business and maximize their clients’ success.
Keynote speakers include author/business coach Michael Port in Calgary and leadership/performance expert Dr. J.P. Pawliw-Fry in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
