ING Direct is the latest Canadian financial institution to launch a mobile banking app.
The application is available for the Blackberry and iPhone and supports transferring of funds and checking of account balances and transactions.
It’ll also let users find the nearest ABM or ING Direct location.
CIBC was the first of the major banks to offer a full-featured mobile banking app, which is available only on the iPhone, to transfer funds, pay bills and check account balances and transactions.
Scotiabank’s Blackberry and iPhone app only allows users to find their nearest branch or ABM.
RBC doesn’t have a banking app but does have an optimized website for banking on mobile phones.
