  • Daniela Follegot has been appointed vice-president, asset and wealth management with Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC), where she will lead the organization’s advocacy efforts for retail manufacturing, asset management and distribution. Follegot was previously managing counsel and director with the RBC Law Group. During her 20-year career, she has also supported TD’s asset management and wealth management businesses and served as legal counsel at the Ontario Securities Commission.
  • Nancy Carroll and John Montalbano have been appointed to Manulife’s board of directors. Carroll is a former partner in the Financial Services Group of McCarthy Tétrault LLP and has more than 40 years of legal experience dealing with insurance, reinsurance, M&A and compliance. Montalbano is principal at venture capital firm Tower Beach Capital Ltd., and has several decades of experience in the investment industry. He was previously CEO of RBC Global Asset Management and vice-chair of RBC Wealth Management.
  • Jean Lavigueur has joined the board of Croesus. He was most recently CFO at Coveo Solutions for 17 years and previously held the same position at Baan SCS and Groupe Berclain.
