GMP Capital Corp. today announced two new additions to the GMP trading desk, veteran traders Nick Bradbrook and Tom Bury. Their primary responsibility will be to act as traders for GMP Private Client Ltd. and its investment advisors.

GMP Private Client Ltd. is a full-service investment firm that serves the needs of affluent investors.

Bradbrook joins from Altamira Management/NATCAN where he was most recently the Head Equity Trader. He has been in the investment industry since 1980 with firms such as Chase Manhattan Bank, Pershing Limited and CIBC Mellon. He will be responsible for trades generated from money management programs and large retail orders made with investment advisors at GMP Private Client. He joins GMP Private Client as a director, equity trading.

Bury has been involved in every major aspect of the fixed income market over his 30-year career, including senior positions at BMO Nesbitt Burns in Canada and the U.K., Burns Fry and CIBC. Most recently, he has acted as a consultant to technology companies in the electronic bond trading business as well as to the federal government in the Crown Corporation borrowings unit. Bury joins GMP Private Client as Director, Fixed Income Trading.
