The Financial Services Commission of Ontario is raising the passing grade for the Life License Qualification Program exam.

In a notice on its website, FSCO says that, effective November 1, the passing grade for the LLQP Life, Restricted and A & S exams will be 60%. The initial pass score was set at 50%, until March 31. Since then, the passing score has been reassessed.

FSCO says in an earlier notice that, following the reassessment, the pass score will be consistent with the requirements of other financial services regulatory regimes.
