The Toronto-based Financial Planning Standards Council (FPSC) has announced its schedule of events for Financial Planning Week, which will be held across Canada from Nov. 18 to 24.
Established in 2009, Financial Planning Week is meant to raise awareness of the importance of the financial planning profession and the benefits of working with a certified professional, FPSC says in a news release.
This year, FPSC will discuss details of its rebranding as FP Canada, “a new national professional body to lead the advancement of professional financial planning.”
Ontario Minister of Finance Vic Fedeli will give a keynote speech at the Celebration of the Profession Dinner in Toronto on Nov. 20.
More information on Financial Planning Week events in Toronto and Vancouver can be found on the FPSC website.
