FP Canada has announced the top performers for the May 2022 sitting of the qualified associate financial planner (QAFP) exam.

Melissa Laursen, a financial planning associate at PWL Capital Inc., had the highest score among the 186 candidates who took the exam. A former teacher, Laursen has been with the firm since April.

Laura Wierzbicki, senior consultant at IG Wealth Management, had the second highest score on the exam.

Another IG Wealth Management employee, consultant Adam Malcolm, cracked the top three.

The next sitting of the exam will take place on Oct. 13.
