Hartville Group provides pet insurance under several brand names
Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. (TSX:FFH) said Wednesday it has signed a deal to acquire pet insurance company Hartville Group Inc.
Financial terms of the deal were not immediately available.
Hartville provides pet insurance plans under several brand names, including Hartville Pet Insurance and the Petshealth Care Plan.
The company will become wholly-owned by Crum & Forster’s United States Fire Insurance Co., a Fairfax subsidiary.
Affected CPAs will have the option to become members of the national group
