Desjardins Financial Security has launched its new Integrated Retirement Management Centre (IRMC) which brings together its team of group retirement savings specialists.

“We created the IRMC to make plan management easier by grouping all the professionals and services available to plan sponsors under one roof. This Centre is the embodiment of our firm commitment to support and assist plan sponsors at a time when the environment is becoming increasingly complex,” says Monique Tremblay, senior vp, savings and segregated funds at DFS. “It is part of our expansion strategy across Canada,” she adds.

The IRMC is designed to meet the specific needs of pension plan sponsors, providing access to management tools to monitor plans diligently and with relative ease.

The IRMC will enable plan sponsors to have access to new products and services while benefiting from support and assistance. The new functions include FlexiRemittance, an electronic contribution remittance service that DFS says will save sponsors time and money.
