Vancouver-based Canadian Western Trust Co. (CWT) said Wednesday it will provide custody services for personal pension plans administered by Toronto-based Integris Pension Management Corp.
Privately owned Itegris offers pension plans for individuals through an integrated network of actuaries, pension and compliance officers.
“We have proven expertise in partnering with companies that deliver valuable services for our clients,” said Patricia Hunter, CWT’s national sales manager, in a release.
“The personal pension plan will provide an additional option for our independent financial advisors to manage the retirement savings of their high net-worth clients.”
“Integris is delighted to be partnering with CWT to provide clients with better retirement savings solutions,” said J.P. Laporte, CEO of Integris.
“By combining CWT’s superior custodial services with Integris’ robust personal pension platform, investors will have the ability to build larger retirement nest eggs by contributing up to 60% more than what is allowed through contributions just in RRSPs.”
CWT is a wholly owned affiliate of Canadian Western Bank (TSX:CWB).
