The Canadian Securities Institute has launched a pilot program to podcast educational content.
The CSI launched the Voice of Reason today, a podcast pilot program that gives students access to online audio files providing the ability to listen to course content on portable MP3 devices. The pilot program expands on content related to the Canadian Securities Course and is designed to supplement online study tools currently available through CSI’s website. The project consists of 10 podcasts, covering a range of topics from bond pricing to segregated funds.
A select group of students currently enrolled in the CSC have been invited to participate and evaluate the Voice of Reason podcast pilot project.
“CSI is one of the first Canadian educational institutions to leverage podcast technology for enhancing course content,” said Roberta Wilton, president and CEO of CSI. “Introducing podcasting as a learning tool demonstrates CSI’s commitment to make our material more accessible as we continue to deliver the highest quality financial education.”
