Toronto-based CIBC Mellon has been named the best sub-custodian in Canada by Global Finance magazine for the ninth year in a row.
The magazine publishes an annual ranking of the world’s best sub-custodian banks. It considers criteria such as the sub-custodian’s customer relations, service quality, competitive pricing and knowledge of local regulations and practices.
Shane Kuros, vice president of business development and relationship management at CIBC Mellon, says the firm is honoured to be recognized by Global Finance for the ninth consecutive year.
“Clients seeking to navigate Canada’s business and regulatory environment trust the CIBC Mellon team to provide an intense focus on client service and continuous improvement, combined with deep knowledge of the Canadian market to help them meet the needs of both Canadian and global stakeholders,” he adds.
