The Canadian Investment Awards has added a new award to the roster. The Learning Library Advisor Education Award recognizes exceptional educational initiatives aimed at investment advisors.

The inaugural award will be presented at the Gala taking place at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto, on November 29.

“We wanted to design an award that recognized an organization that shows educational leadership and excellence,” says Sabine Steinbrecher, president, Canadian Investment Awards Inc. “The purpose is to encourage programs that lead advisors to a better understanding of products, services, financial planning and other business related topics in general. This, in turn, helps their clients.”

The Canadian Investment Awards is currently inviting submissions for the 2007 Advisor Education Award. In addition to this award, there are five others also open for submission. These awards are voted upon by senior juries and are chosen from submissions by organizations within the industry. Winners are chosen based on rigorous criteria and are considered to be leaders in the industry.

Submission deadline is October 9th, 2007.

“We always encourage the industry to participate in highlighting good work,” continued Steinbrecher. “In addition to this award, nominations are still open for the Career Achievement Award and Person of Influence of the Year Award.”

Submissions and inquiries should be directed to www.InvestmentAwards.com.
