With the merging of insurance associations LIMRA and LOMA, attendees of the LOMA Canada Annual Conference are set to reap the benefits.
This year is the first year that LIMRA and LOMA are joining efforts in hosting the conference, the most comprehensive event for life and health insurance professionals in Canada.
The event takes place June 9 in Toronto.
New for this year is the section for distribution, and this year’s conference promises to bring together insurance professionals from the distribution and administrative sides of the industry.
Keynote speaker Nick Bontis is presenting “Working Smarter” and Paul Grimes, senior vice president individual sales, industrial alliance, will address “The Canadian Financial Services Landscape — What Is on the Horizon.”
Attendees may chose from a variety of break-out sessions and workshops organized by LOMA/LIMRA Canada’s Educational Sections including agency & market conduct, claims administration, distribution, financial management and internal audit, group benefits & retirement services, human resources, learning & management development and the newly revitalized strategic IT.
