Dashboard Communication Corp. reports that a couple of Bay Street firms have introduced its mobile research distribution platform.
BMO Capital Markets Research and Blackmont Capital Inc. have both rolled out Dashboard Mobile Financial. DMF is the first RSS-based mobile reader designed exclusively for investment dealers, their staff and clients.
“DMF revolutionizes the mobile experience by aggregating investment dealer research in one unique location on the BlackBerry. It provides concise summaries of research reports and introduces the unprecedented ability to open and easily read full reports, including all charts and graphs” said Dashboard CEO Andrew Jordan, in a news release.
DMF also eliminates the issues of spam and inbox overload found in traditional e-mail.
In addition to research distribution from their investment dealer, clients receive a complete portfolio of news feeds from the major news providers and financial newswire releases from Market Wire.
“We currently have a handful of investment dealers launching to thousands of portfolio managers and hedge funds in Canada, the U.S. & UK. The objective is to create a personalized, one-stop mobile source for information in the financial industry for all mobile users,” Jordan added.
“Our goal is to establish a new standard in service for our institutional clients and investment advisors by streamlining the research distribution process,” said Michael Binette, Blackmont’s Managing Director of Research, “Introducing a mobile solution for clients is a key step towards that goal.”
