Alberta Investment Management Corp. (AIMCo) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its board of directors: J. Richard Bird; John T. Ferguson, and Robert L. “Jay” Vivian Jr.
The official appointment follows the signing of the Order in Council on February 26.
Bird is executive vice president, chief financial officer and corporate development of Enbridge Inc., responsible for all financial affairs of the company and corporate planning, mergers, acquisitions and corporate development.
Ferguson is the founder and chairman of the board of Princeton Developments Ltd. and Princeton Ventures Ltd.
Vivian is the former managing director of the IBM Retirement Funds.
AIMCo invests globally on behalf of 27 pension, endowment and government funds in Alberta, including the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund.
