AIMA Canada, which represents the alternative investment industry in Canada, announced on Tuesday the membership of its executive committee for 2010-2012.
The committee includes:
Chairman: Gary Ostoich, president of Spartan Fund Management
Deputy-chair: Eamonn McConnell, CEO and founding partner of Manna Asset Management
Legal counsel: Michael Burns, partner with McMillan LLP and co-chair of the firm’s structured products group
Secretary: Andrew Doman, chief operating officer at Man Investments Canada Corp.
Treasurer: Chris Pitts, partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers
AIMA Canada chairman Gary Ostoich expressed gratitude to his fellow executive committee members, all of whom were elected to serve for an additional two-year term.
“On behalf of AIMA Canada, I would like to express sincere appreciation to Eamonn McConnell, Michael Burns, Andrew Doman and Chris Pitts for their past service and the important contributions they have made to the association’s work during the past two years. I look forward to continuing to work with them over the next two years,” he said.
