Agora Dealer Services Corp. has partnered with Pascal Financial Inc. to strengthen the digital wealth platform it offers to independent financial advisors and mutual fund dealers.

“Pascal is an emerging wealthtech leader, and the addition of their software to our platform will provide dealers and advisors with a low cost, efficient, end-to-end solution with additional features to support value-added advice for advisors,” said Paul Morford, chief executive officer of Agora Dealer Services, in a release.

Agora is a carrying dealer that offers the independent mutual fund space a cloud-based wealth management platform. Pascal Financial offers digital wealth management software that incorporates artificial intelligence and behavioural finance. Both companies are based in Toronto.

As part of the deal, Agora will use Pascal’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) to bring new capabilities to its platform such as the use of behavioural finance to help with client engagement, communication through an “engagement hub” that allows advisors to contact clients with relevant content, and the use of Pascal’s InvestorDNA client onboarding tool.

“We are committed to empowering mutual fund dealers and their advisors to deliver outstanding client engagement, achieve greater administration efficiencies and streamline compliance, which results in a superior client experience,” said Howard Atkinson, chief business officer at Pascal Financial, in the release.

The integration of Pascal’s software onto Agora’s platform is expected to be completed in August 2020.
