Montreal-based National Bank of Canada’s wealth-management division is welcoming a new advisor team into the fold as the firm aims to grow its presence in Ontario.
Joseph Guagliano Sr., Joseph Guagliano Jr., Gerald Hedgcock and Ross Wigle, all investment advisors, joined National Bank Financial Ltd.’s (NBF) new branch in Ancaster, Ont. in October from Toronto-based BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. The team’s investment assistants, Colin Jackson and Catherine Moskal, have also joined the firm.
“The growth of our business in Ontario is a priority for us,” says Martin Lavigne, president of wealth management with NBF, in a statement. “Over the past few years, our organization has evolved at a strong pace, all while maintaining a distinctive culture and working closely with our investment advisors to serve clients. I am very proud of this.”
Guagliano Sr. is the senior member of the team with 42 years of experience in the financial services industry in which he has held the roles of investment advisor, vice president, managing director and branch manager.
Hedgcock and Wigle each bring more than 20 years of financial services sector experience to their roles and Guagliano Jr. has been employed in the industry for 20 years.
