Toronto-based Accretive Advisor Inc. will launch a new website and business model next week to help advisors build stronger businesses and investors find professional advice.
“Our mission is to redefine the financial relationship between investors and advisors,” said George Hartman, co-founder of Accretive Advisor during a webinar on Wednesday explaining the new website (www.accretiveadvisor.com). “How will we do that? By bringing together investors who are serious about their money and advisors who are serious about their business.”
In August, Hartman and Tom Reimer, also co-founder, acquired the Elite Advisor Program from Accretive 360 Inc. (headquartered in Toronto). That program has been re-launched as Accretive Advisor Inc. Despite the change, said Hartman, the company has many of the core benefits of the old program. For example, Accretive Advisor retains the brand material of the Elite Advisor Program, its relationship with Toronto-based Advisor Impact Inc. along with the client audit program. Accretive Advisor also retains its contacts with 26 dealer firms.
The new website will offer tools and resources for investors, financial advisors generally and advisors who qualify for the Elite program.
By visiting the website, investors can improve their financial literacy through an extensive glossary of terms, feeds to various business media outlets and articles contributed by Elite advisors, said Reimer. For those who are looking for professional advice, the website will also provide several links to connect an investor with an Elite advisor.
Those advisors who do not qualify for the Elite program can use the practice management tools and resources on the site on a subscription basis. Through the website advisors can join the Accretive Advisor community, find out about the Elite program and use the practice management tools provided.
“This page is directed at IAs across the country who are serious about building their business, who want to grow that business and want to deliver a better client experience,” said Reimer. “Our goal is to make this the go-to site for financial services practice management.”
Advisors who qualify for the Elite program will have access to the entire website, including tools in several areas, said Reimer, such as coaching, the Elite marketing tool kit and more.
