A Market Regulation Services Inc. hearing scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled. Instead the panel will convene on Thursday, July 28 to consider a possible settlement between the RS and RBC Dominion Securities Inc.

Managing director of Canadian equity derivatives Ian MacDonald, director of Canadian equity derivatives David Singh, vice president of Canadian equity derivatives Edward Boyd and senior equity and derivatives trader Peter Dennis, at RBC DS, are said to have used a manipulative and deceptive method of trading.

If the settlement is accepted, a disciplinary notice will be published.
