The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) issued a notice Friday of obligations surrounding document delivery in light of possible job action at Canada Post beginning Monday.
The regulator recommends that anyone required to deliver documents to a CSA member or security holder consult with their local regulator’s website for guidance.
In the event of a rotating postal strike, stakeholders should verify the extent of service interruptions by checking with appropriate government authorities, as the effects may vary by province or district, the CSA says.
