The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has issued a Notice of Hearing against Robert Vincent Bartel of Calgary alleging he violated Alberta securities laws.

ASC Staff alleges that Bartel solicited investments in the securities of NOF Electrical Generation Inc., Resolute Financial Corp., Mountain Star Capital Corp. and McKinley North Ventures Inc., raising over $900,000 through illegal trades.

An appearance to set a date for the hearing is scheduled for September 26, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. in the ASC Hearing Room, 6th floor, 300-5th Avenue, Calgary, Alberta.
