A long suspended investment dealer, All Group Financial Services Inc., has finally been terminated formally from the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).

The self-regulatory organization (SRO) announced on Wednesday that the Toronto-based firm’s membership was formally terminated as of Aug. 1. All Group has been suspended since January 2017 and was in the process of winding down after selling its assets and transferring its advisors to Hampton Securities Ltd.

An order formally terminating the firm from SRO membership was issued by an IIROC hearing panel following a hearing that was largely procedural. According to an affidavit filed earlier this year by IIROC staff, All Group held no client assets and it was deemed, “effectively insolvent.” The firm did not object to the order.
