Sun Life Financial’s Canadian Group Benefits division and WarrenShepell have joined forces to provide the employee assistance program to Group Benefits plan sponsors.
Sun Life aims to provide members with EAPs, which offer an “important and proven step toward resolving the personal, social and stress-related issues that can lead to illness and absence.” The strategic alliance with WarrenShepell will help Sun Life become a market leader in health management.
WarrenShepell’s EAP services present members with an “holistic approach to prevention while assisting with containing rising mental health costs” through crisis counselling, and information on and help with several issues, such as nutrition and legal issues.
