Financial Planners Standards Council (FPSC) has made another converged media buy of radio and transit advertising this RRSP season to help Canadians take the next step in their financial affairs.

This year’s seasonal campaign, the third one run by FPSC, continues to borrow inspiration from the likes of Oscar Wilde, Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso and others of notable fame to inspire Canadians to tune in and talk (Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professionals — who will be on talk radio shows in seven markets across Canada.

On February 18, 19, 25 and 26, CFP professionals will hit the airwaves in Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver respectively.

The radio shows are supported by 30-second commercials running on all sister stations and by bus backs advertisements in Toronto.

“Our goal is to remind Canadians of the value of life-long financial planning as guided by a professional financial planner at a time when personal finance is top-of-mind. The success of the last two years has made it clear to us that Canadians value the advice CFP professionals offer,” says Ann Bowman, FPSC vp, communications & corporate relations.

“It’s a terrific opportunity to continue to build our brand awareness,” adds Bowman.

Richard Clewes of Clique developed the concept and Michael Walker of Walker Media handled the media buy.
