Assante Corp. announced Thursday that it is realigning its U.S. management structure. Assante CEO Marty Weinberg will assume the position of CEO of the U.S. operations, leading the company through its next stage of development in the U.S.
Dr. Harvey Schiller is leaving the position of U.S. CEO, but will remain as chair. Schiller will concentrate on building partnerships and raising Assante’s profile in the U.S. “This role will allow me to turn my full attention to the promotion of the Assante concept among potential clients and partners,” Schiller said.
“The new alignment will give Assante additional expertise as we expand our reach in the U.S. market,” said Weinberg. “It will make full use of the talents and experience at our disposal, allowing us to open new doors and expedite our plans as quickly as possible.”
Assisting Weinberg in his new role will be Mickey Segal, president of Assante Business Management, Jeff Moorad, president of Assante Sports Management group, and other senior executives from the organization.
In the coming year, Weinberg will focus particular attention on the development of the financial services business. “Now that our Canadian operation is running independently, we can put our financial service expertise to work in the U.S., rounding out the management team,” Weinberg said.
