Toronto-based Richardson Wealth has added to its tax and estate planning team with three hires in Western Canada, the firm’s parent company, RF Capital Group Inc., said Monday.

Christopher Curtis, a former wealth and tax planning consultant with Great-West Life and Canada Life,  is joining Richardson Wealth as vice-president for the western region in Winnipeg, the firm said in a release. An accountant and lawyer, Curtis worked most recently at law firm MLT Aikins LLP in Winnipeg.

Alysha To is joining Richardson’s Vancouver office as a senior financial planner, moving to the firm from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s LePoidevin Group. The firm also hired Matthew Castling as a financial planner in its Calgary office.

“Tax and estate planning is a cornerstone of our wealth management offering,” said Richardson president and CEO Kish Kapoor in the release. “These key hires have the necessary skills and experience to provide incredible value to our advisors and high-net-worth clients in Western Canada.
