The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) issued a call Monday for volunteers with capital markets expertise to serve on an advisory committee that provides policy input on how markets operate.

The Market Structure Advisory Committee is comprised of 12 to 15 members serving two-year terms, which can be renewed once.

The group, which meets quarterly, is chaired by Susan Greenglass, director of the OSC’s market regulation branch. Applications are due July 7.

“Members are selected for their extensive knowledge of the Canadian capital markets and market structure, and for their strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements of securities legislation in Canada,” the commission said in a release.
