Oakville, Ont.-based Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. has launched two ETFs focusing on the travel and clean energy sectors.
The Harvest Travel & Leisure Index ETF is designed to replicate the Solactive Travel & Leisure Index. The fund accomplishes this through investments in North American large-cap issuers that own or operate travel-related businesses.
“[The ETF] provides a low cost portfolio that stands to benefit from a rebound in international travel as the global economy recovers, as well as a demographic trend that was well established prior to the recent industry shut downs,” said Michael Kovacs, president and CEO of Harvest, in a release.
The fund company has also launched the Harvest Clean Energy ETF, which invests primarily in clean energy–related businesses listed on North American, Asian or European stock exchanges.
The ETFs have a management fee of 0.4%. Both funds are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
