Toronto-based Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has significantly lowered the initial investment minimum for a number of its portfolios.

The investment minimum for the CIBC Passive Portfolios is now $500, down from the original $5,000 minimum.

The affected funds are as follows:

  • CIBC Conservative Passive Portfolio – Class A
  • CIBC Conservative Passive Portfolio – Class F
  • CIBC Balanced Passive Portfolio – Class A
  • CIBC Balanced Passive Portfolio – Class F
  • CIBC Balanced Growth Passive Portfolio – Class A
  • CIBC Balanced Growth Passive Portfolio – Class F
