Patrick McCarthy has been tapped to head Leede Jones Gable’s new capital markets business.
The Calgary-based investment firm said in a release that the new venture will provide access to growth capital for qualifying companies as well as “unique investment opportunities” to the firm’s institutional and retail clients.
“We have a long history of raising capital for early stage companies,” Jim Dale, CEO of Leede Jones Gable, said in the release.
McCarthy, who has more than 20 years of capital markets experience at global banks and Canadian independent dealers, will serve as managing director of Leede Jones Gable’s capital markets division from the firm’s Toronto office.
“It’s been a strategic objective of our firm to increase our capacity to raise growth capital for companies as their capital requirements increase,” Dale said. “We are delighted to have the experience that Pat brings to our team.”
