Ontario’s Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs will meet in early 2019 to conduct pre-budget consultations, the committee announced Tuesday.
The legislative committee will hold public hearings in Toronto on Jan, 15 and 29; and in Dryden on Jan. 21, in Timmins on Jan. 22, in Ottawa on Jan. 23, in Sarnia on Jan. 24, in Kitchener-Waterloo on Jan. 25 and in Peterborough on Jan. 28, the committee says in a news release.
Interested people who wish to be considered to make an oral presentation to the committee on Jan. 15, should provide their contact name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to the clerk of the committee by 9:00 a.m. on Jan. 7. Requests to present at the later meetings should be submitted to the clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 8.
Those who do not wish to make an oral presentation but wish to comment on the issue may send a written submission to the clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Jan. 29.
