Portfolio manager Norman MacDonald is leaving Toronto-based Beutel Goodman & Co. Ltd. According to Toronto-based Hartford Investments Canada Corp., the former Beutel Goodman vice president will no longer be involved in the day-to-day investment decisions of Hartford Canadian Value Fund and Hartford Canadian Equity Fund. Mark Thomson and Andrew Sweeney, both of Beutel Goodman, will continue to manage the funds. MacDonald is leaving to pursue other opportunities.
