BlackRock goes “unhedged”

Toronto-based BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. has launched three unhedged exchange-traded funds (ETFs): iShares S&P 500 Index ETF, iShares MSCI EAFE IMI Index ETF and iShares MSCI Emerging Markets IMI Index ETF. iShares S&P 500 Index ETF delivers access to the S&P 500 index; it has a management expense ratio (MER) of 0.14%. iShares MSCI EAFE IMI Index ETF seeks to replicate, before fees and expenses, the performance of the MSCI EAFE investible market index; it charges an MER of 0.30%. iShares MSCI Emerging Markets IMI Index ETF seeks to replicate, before fees and expenses, the performance of the MSCI emerging markets investible market index; its MER is 0.35%.
