Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. has introduced Cambridge Global Dividend Fund, which provides investors with the opportunity to achieve a high level of total investment return consisting of dividend income and capital gains, primarily by investing in equities of companies anywhere in the world that pay or may be expected to pay dividends. Units also are available in the Cambridge Global Dividend Corporate Class Fund version, which does not pay a regular distribution but offers the tax efficiency of the corporate-class structure. Redemption fees begin at 5.5% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 7 for the regular DSC schedule; or begin at 3% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 3 of the low-load schedule. Trailing commissions are 1% for front-end sales and 0.5% for deferred sales. Management fees are 2% for A-class units and 1% for F-class units. Minimum investment is $500.
