Toronto-based AGF Investments Inc. has made several changes to its portfolio-management teams and product lineup. Peter Frost, previously vice president and portfolio manager, has been promoted to senior vice president and portfolio manager; he joined AGF in 2010 and now manages three Canadian balanced and equity mandates. Brian Madden, previously portfolio manager, has been promoted to vice president and portfolio manager; he also joined AGF in 2010. Madden, along with Michael White, vice president and portfolio manager, co-manages AGF Canadian Asset Allocation Fund. In addition, AGF and Highstreet Asset Management Inc. have replaced Acuity Investment Management Inc. (both Toronto-based) as portfolio manager for several funds. AGF will take over as portfolio manager for AGF All Cap 30 Canadian Equity Fund, AGF Conservative Asset Allocation Fund, AGF High Income Fund, AGF Social Values Balanced Fund, AGF Social Values Equity Fund, Acuity Pooled Canadian Balanced Fund, Acuity Pooled Conservative Asset Allocation Fund and Acuity Pooled High Income Fund. Highstreet now will manage AGF Canadian Small Cap Discovery Fund and Acuity Pooled Canadian Small Cap Fund. AGF also will terminate Acuity Pooled Corporate Bond Fund on or about Dec. 9.
