Toronto-based TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM), portfolio manager of TD Mutual Funds, has introduced TD U.S. Shareholder Yield Fund to its fund family lineup. The fund will provide investors with access to a diversified portfolio of U.S.-based income-producing securities. At the same time, TDAM has expanded TD European Growth Fund to include A-class and F-class units, which will provide investors with the opportunity to invest mainly in stocks of companies that are located or active in Europe. Both funds will be managed by New York-based Epoch Investment Partners Inc. Advisor commissions for both funds are 0%-5% for front-end sales, 5% for deferred sales, 1% for low-load sales and 3% for the low-load 2 option. Redemption fees begin at 5.5% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 6 for the regular DSC schedule; begin at 2% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 2 of the low-load schedule; or begin at 3.5% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 4 of the low-load 2 schedule. Trailing commissions are 0%-1% for front-end and low-load sales, and 0%-0.5% for deferred and low-load 2 sales. Management fees for TD U.S. Shareholder Yield Fund are up to 2% for A-class units and up to 1% for F-class units; for TD European Growth Fund, they are up to 2.25% for A-class units and up to 1.25% for F-class units. Minimum investment is $500.
