The Ontario District Council of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada has permanently banned David Stojanovic, a former registered representative with E*Trade Canada Inc.

Stojanovic has admitted that he engaged in conduct unbecoming a registered representative by creating a fictitious credit adjustment in a dormant client account and using it to effect unauthorized transactions.

On March 11, the District Council accepted a settlement agreement that permanently bans Stojanovic from registration approval with an IDA member. It also ordered him to pay $3,000 toward investigation costs.
