Henry was aware that his successful practice had stopped growing.
He knew it was time to make a fundamental change to his business, but didn’t know how to go about determining what that change should be.
Henry learned that the first step in decided upon a strategy was to identify a specific long-term vision for his business.
That meant answering, in detail, two key questions:
> How big do I want to become? The answer to this question would give Henry key insights into the types of clients he would have and the services he would offer in order to reach his goals.
> What role do I want to play? The answer to this question would give Henry a picture of his function in dealing with clients in the context of the rest of his team.
