Ethical Funds Co. has named Manning & Napier Advisors Inc. as portfolio manager of its Global Equity Fund effective April 18, replacing Rockefeller & Co.
“Our strategy is to identify managers that can deliver performance over an entire market cycle. Managing portfolio risk while delivering returns is key to achieving this,” said Don Rolfe, president and chief executive officer of Ethical Funds.
Manning & Napier manages US$1.7 billion in international equities for institutional and retail clients, as part of a US $7.4 billion overall total equity investment portfolio. It has managed socially responsible investments in the United States, including the Ethical American Multi-Strategy Fund since May 2005, and currently manages US$1 billion in socially responsible investments.
