Sun Life Financial Inc. has successfully completed a public offering in Canada of $700 million of Series B Senior Unsecured 4.95% Fixed/Floating Debentures. The debentures are due in 2036.
The debentures were sold under a prospectus supplement dated March 9.
The debentures have not been and will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and may not be offered, sold or delivered within the United States.
The acquisition also marks the launch of Canaccord’s Ottawa office
