Toronto-based Standard Life Mutual Funds Inc. and Manulife Asset Management Accord (2015) Inc. (MAM) have made several changes to their investment teams. Terry Carr, head of MAM’s Canadian fixed-income team, now will be responsible for Standard Life Canadian Bond Fund, Standard Life Canadian Bond Class, Standard Life Short Term Bond Fund and Standard Life Tactical Bond Fund, as well as for the bond component of some balanced funds, including Standard Life Balanced Fund. Manulife Asset Management (U.S.) LLC and Manulife Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd. now are subadvisors to Standard Life Global Bond Fund. Manulife Asset Management (U.S.) now is subadvisor to Portrait Portfolio Funds. Edward Whitehead, who leads MAM’s Canadian small-cap equities team, and Luciano Orengo, portfolio manager, now are responsible for Standard Life Canadian Small Cap Fund and Standard Life Canadian Small Cap Class. As well, portfolio managers Steve Belisle and Marie-Eve Savard will co-manage several funds, including Standard Life Canadian Dividend Growth Fund, Standard Life Canadian Dividend Growth Class, Standard Life Dividend Income Fund, Standard Life Dividend Income Class and the equities component of Standard Life Tactical Income Fund. Monika Skiba, head of the Canadian fundamental equities team, will lead the Canadian asset mix committee. The investment objectives and guidelines for all funds will remain the same.
