Five new ETFs are available from iShares as part of that fund provider’s FactorSelect suite of ETFs. iShares is the ETF business division of Toronto-based BlackRock Asset Management Canada Ltd. The five new funds are: iShares FactorSelect MSCI EAFE Index ETF; iShares FactorSelect MSCI USA Index ETF; iShares FactorSelect MSCI Canada Index ETF; iShares FactorSelect MSCI USA Index ETF (CAD-hedged); and iShares FactorSelect MSCI EAFE Index ETF (CAD-hedged). These ETFs construct portfolios based on four drivers: value, quality, momentum and small size. The new ETFs provide investors with exposure to Canadian, U.S. and international equities. The new funds are part of iShares Smart Beta lineup, which had US$50 billion in assets under management globally at the end of 2014. Management fees are 0.45% for all five funds.
