Laurentian Bank has named Michel Pelletier as Ombudsman of the bank and its subsidiaries.

Pelletier has extensive experience in the financial services sector. He has held senior level positions in banking and marketing.

In particular, while at Laurentian Bank from 1996 to 2003, his functions included executive vp, agency banking, and co-chief operating officer of B2B Trust.

Pelletier succeeds Chantal Bélanger who has served as the Laurentian Bank Ombudsman since 2003. Joining Laurentian Bank in 1986, she held various positions in audit, information technologies and business development, including senior vp, retail financial services, Quebec.
