Manulife Financial is launching a new online Annual Information Return Summary Report for group pension clients across Canada, as part of its governance program.

This report is part of Manulife Group Savings and Retirement Solutions’ (GSRS) goal to make plan management easier for clients. It presents plan specific information that registered pension plan sponsors need to complete their Annual Information Returns (AIRs).

The report compiles and displays information relevant to the jurisdiction where the plan is registered to make it easier for plan sponsors to supply the particular plan details required by various pension regulators.

“Plan governance is important for plan sponsors – and we consistently look for ways to make it easier for them to deliver on their governance requirements,” says Mike Collins, vice president, marketing and communications.

“This new report offers plan sponsors a valuable and distinct resource. Plans sponsors can easily access relevant information in the right order to make it easier to complete their AIRs,” adds Collins.
