TD Asset Management Inc. of Toronto has added five series to two of its fixed-income mutual funds. TD Canadian Corporate Bond Fund and TD U.S. Corporate Bond Fund invest in investment-grade debt securities issued by Canadian and U.S. corporations and trusts, including mortgage-backed securities or asset-based securities, as well as bonds issued by governments of the same countries. The new series include: Investor Series, Advisor Series, F-Series, Premium Series and Premium F-Series. Advisor commissions for both funds’ series are 0% – 5% for front-end sales; 5% for deferred sales; 1% for the low-load option; or 3% for the low-load option 2. Redemption fees begin at 5.5% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 6 for the regular DSC schedule; begin at 2% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 2 of the low-load option; or begin at 3.5% in Year 1 and end at zero after Year 4 of the low-load option 2. Trailing commissions are 0.5% for front-end sales; 0.25% for deferred sales; 0.5% for the low-load sales; and 0.25% for the first three years of the low-load option 2, and 0.5% thereafter. Management fees are 1.25% for A-class units and 0.75% for F-class units. Minimum investment is $500.
