Toronto-based Invesco Canada Ltd. recently launched two income-focused mutual funds. Invesco Global Bond Fund is an actively managed, global fixed-income strategy focused on delivering income and growth. The Invesco fund invests primarily in investment-grade debt securities of governments, corporations and other global issuers. At least 75% of the portfolio is allocated to investment-grade bonds, and the fund may invest up to the remaining 25% of assets in debt securities rated below investment-grade. The other recently launched product is Trimark Global Diversified Income Fund. The equities portion of this fund invests in high-quality, global dividend-paying companies with the potential to achieve sustainable dividend growth while aiming to lower volatility in declining markets. The fixed-income side of the Trimark fund invests in global government and corporate securities and seeks yield opportunities through diversified exposure to multi-asset, investment-grade and/or below investment-grade fixed-income securities.
